FX已宣布续订旗下喜剧《更美好的事》第二季。
《黑名单 Burn Notice》男主Jerrrey Donovan，以及KaDee Strickland早前接下Hulu新剧《Shut Eye》男主与女主角色。该部由Les Bohem开发的剧，讲述的是洛杉矶某犯罪财团经营的一家街头占卜店里的一名员工突然鬼迷心窍，发现自己能看到虚幻的事物，从而想要挑战人生的故事。Donovan扮演的Charlie Haverford是一个失败的魔术师，在店里主要给客人占卜，但是工作了好几年的他遭遇瓶颈期，开始质疑一切，他的妻子也劝导他能突破自我，但是他仍然 小心翼翼，因为一步错步步错。近期演出过《秘密与谎言 Secrets and Lies》及《终极玩家 The Player》的KaDee Strickland饰演女主角Linda，一个漂亮的前舞者，现在是主角的妻子，偶然会躁狂症及抑郁症发作。在富人家里占卜赚钱的她，内心希望自己的老 公，能脱离他那暴力的犯罪者老大，然后他们夫妇档可以自己进行一些赚钱的勾当及骗局。Susan Misner和Emmanuelle Chriqui同样参演该剧。Susan Misner饰演Dr. Nora White，一个神经科学家；Emmanuelle Chriqui饰演Gina，一个催眠者。Angus Sampson饰演常规角色Fonzo，一个充满男子气概﹑强势﹑有良好品味的吉普赛领袖。他是个还在悼念离世妻子的单亲父亲，外表和蔼可亲﹑随和，但实际是个危险﹑会恐吓别人﹑用铁腕手段经营自己生意的人。《双面法医 Dexter》主演David Zayas饰演常规角色Eduardo Bernal，是个强势的商人，前来找男主角Charlie占卜。Isabella Rossellini饰演Rita，一个外表秀丽﹑但实际是个虐待狂的吉普赛人族长。
