《新兵日记之特战英雄》（英文：Rookies' Diary）为新兵日记之续集。2011年台湾偶像剧，由民视制作、播出，国防部协助拍摄。该剧于2011年4月开拍，并于2011年4月22日首播，采边拍边播形式。挟著《新兵日记》的高收视，民视于2010年12月决议开拍新兵续集，剧名暂定为《新兵日记２》，并订于2011年3月正式开拍，并接续《新兵日记》后播出。由于《新兵日记》主要演员将出演民视备档戏《父与子》及《廉政英雄》，因此无法续演，为此制作单位招募新演员加入。原属意任容萱出演女主角，但任爸不愿女儿冒险，因此决定辞演。 女主角生变，再加上传出国防部不愿支援拍摄《新兵日记２》，使得原本三月开拍在即的《新兵日记２》， 延至四月才正式开拍，而女主角一职仍由刘香慈担任，并将《新兵日记２》正式定名为《新兵日记之特战英雄》。
在一个电闪雷鸣的日子里，身陷囹圄的一只耳成功越狱，引起黑猫警长的高度重视。次日一早，崇拜黑猫警长的小猪三嘟被伙伴大壮拉走，偷偷进入了即将开幕的翡翠之星博物馆。博物馆的前身是一座宇宙飞船，六十年前由羊山博士亲手开发。正当他们玩得不亦乐乎的时候，两个小家伙突然看见了鬼鬼祟祟的一只耳以及一个身材魁梧穷凶极恶的邪恶之人。这个家伙声称曾遭羊山博士背叛，当得知羊山博士已经去世的消息，他一腔怒火无处宣泄。狡猾的一只耳怂恿对方将复仇对象转移到全城人们，等后天博物馆开幕之际将市民全部绑架。
