2006年秋 知名時尚會場內，正舉行年度盛大的藝術品拍賣會。任職知名畫廊經理的林美鳳（陳美鳳飾）亦在其中，且標得數樣價值不斐的藝術品。當今日最後一件競標品小心翼翼被搬上展示台時，那是一幅1946年，由醫生畫家許子文（倪齊民飾）所畫的人物油畫，名為「一生只愛妳」。在覆蓋油畫的紅布掀開瞬間，現場一片嘩然，眾人目光如箭般射向林美鳳。因為，畫中清新脫俗的女子竟與她長的一模一樣，彷彿孿生姊妹，亦或者根本就是同一個人！
