Sevilla, 1920. Teresa, una mujer de cuarenta años, llega a Sevilla huyendo del misterioso asesinato del embajador español en Lisboa y tras la pista de un nombre: Roberta Luna, una alumna de la academia de señoritas de la ciudad.
