清（林俊贤）、爱（许冠英）、水（成奎安）三人合作搅了一间捉鬼公司，刚巧从报上得知某游乐场从大陆运\来两具千年古尸展览，遂决定前往看看有否生意，爱的痴情女友小明（陈淑兰）亦要跟去衬热闹，后来突生怪事，一名老员工着魔死在古尸身上，游乐场老板为防生意被影响，同意请清等人做一场捉鬼战以安定人心，清等人更得以和负责古尸的大陆女干部小雨（邵美琪）认识。 捉假鬼当夜，真正古尸之一的护法银甲尸复活逃去，众人为恐失尸之事传闻，想出由爱扮尸暂时瞒天过海。另一方面，原来爱不时从梦中得见前生片段竟与双尸及小明有关，后来爱与明二人发生了关系，诞下龙珠，爱、明与大（大魔神）前生的三角孽恋便随即发生。 此时刚复活的大魔神感应到龙珠出现，知道会在今生与前世仙体的元神合一，欲先下手为强，破空出现夺珠，但慢了一步，被小明与元神合一，大一惊之下胁持小雨夺空而去。
紧接着，马里克开始用尽办法发展起属于自己的毒品交易网，在科西嘉黑手党的支持和一位有影响力的穆斯林长老的保护下，马里克逐渐成为全法国黑手党的头目。
影片故事背景一如上集，主要人物布迪警长亦由上集的罗伊·谢德扮演，但是今次出现肆虐艾密迪海滩的大白鲨，却是一条满含恨意，一心前来报“杀夫之仇”的母鲨。
系列悬疑刑侦剧《谜证》题材大胆新颖，视角独特细腻，家庭、婚姻、伦理交织其中，既有惊悚刺激、一波三折的血腥案件，又有缠绵纠葛、动恻心扉的情感故事，不同以往的叙事风格更令人耳目一新。
Following the final episode of series two, the BBC subsequently announced that the series had been commissioned for a third run. Michelle Keegan, Luke Pasqualino and Ben Aldridge were later confirmed to be returning to the cast, with newcomer Shalom Brune-Franklin and Rudi Dharmalingam being amongst the new cast members for this series. Unlike previous series, a total of twelve episodes were commissioned; to be shown in three blocks of four episodes, each covering a different "mission". Filming for this series took place in Nepal, South Africa and Malaysia. The first episode of Our Girl: Nepal is due to be broadcast on October 10, 2017.
