The 12th Suspect is a full-length feature film directed by KO Myoungsung, who also directed a documentary titled Good Bye (2009) about Korean immigrants living in Japan who went to North Korea. After the judgment, Zhang Xuejun, Fu Gang and Wang Jiying were sentenced to death by Linyi Intermediate People's Court, while Zhao Feng was sentenced to life imprisonment for being a minor. On the morning of June 22, 2016, according to the death penalty execution order of the Supreme People's Court, the detention center handed over the three condemned prisoners to Linyi Intermediate People's Court for execution.
