故事以当前农村义务教育现状为背景,真实地表现了基层农村学校的状况,赞扬了一大批农村教员以及像李阳光一样的大学生,支教农村,甘愿为新农村教育而扎根基层的奉献精神。
该剧讲述为了跻身上流社会而堵上人生、奋力奔走的女主的欲望和母性，以及置业暴富的成功故事。
《爱在小红点》由四部短片组成，温淑安、伍洛毅与包勋评在其中的《爱诱惑》有大胆演出，由罗胜负责执导。温淑安与伍洛毅饰演结婚多年夫妻，她感觉当空少的伍洛毅忽略自己，便到外面“偷吃”，认识“小王”包勋评，从女性角度探讨婚外情。
《爱》的另外三部短片导演分别是陈启全、任锦添与拉伊汉哈利姆（Raihan Halim）。陈启全在《爱极限》短片以龟毛准新郎邓国强开始，一求婚就衰事连连，花了毕生储蓄买的求婚戒指被黄正平骗走，他及好友石伟正必须想尽办法找回戒指。
《爱记得》是任锦添执导的作品，故事讲述陷入婚姻危机的一对小夫妻（陈伟恩和胡佳嬑饰），两人被一名中年男子（段伟明饰）对老婆真挚的感情所感动，婚姻有了扭转。两人拍完了戏后，对上一代人不离不弃的爱情观有更深入看法，希望在生活中能找到长相厮守的合适伴侣。
根据童书作家Chris Gall同名绘本改编的这部动画系列，讲述了在虚构的史前时代，一群“身体一半是恐龙、一半是卡车”的生物的故事。
